Description |
In this modification of the classical medium for Salmonellae, the concentration of brilliant green has been reduced to obtain a less inhibitory medium. At the same time, the nutrient basis has been enriched to enhance the recovery of those microorganisms that are weakened during the food production process. This formulation was subsequently adopted by the ISO and DIN official method for detecting Salmonellae in meat. |
